Project Spotlight: OceanView at Falmouth – Over the Years

Recently, our team has been working with OceanView at Falmouth for the upcoming new construction within Blueberry Commons. As part of this project, we have designed the upcoming building #4 and are preparing the interiors for updates throughout (check out a rendering of the fireplace in the dining room above).

As we currently work on our next contributions to OceanView at Falmouth, we’d like to look back at just a few of the projects we’ve worked on over the past 40+ years!

Whipple Farm  |  Part of the OceanView at Falmouth campus pocket neighborhoods, Whipple Farm combines the comfort and familiarity of home with the ease of stress-free living. The historic Whipple Farm property became part of the OceanView community in 2003. Shortly thereafter, site plans for the 42-home development began, with construction following in 2005 and resident move-in during 2006.

Schoolhouse Cottages  |  Part of OceanView’s retirement community that provides residents with spacious independent living space. Approximately 1,500 sq. ft., the cottages include two bedrooms and two baths, gas fireplaces, four-season sunrooms, patios, cost and energy saving solar electricity, and generators. Some include second floor lofts and walk-out basements.

Cumberland Crossing Cottages  |  The cottages were designed using a previously used method created by GTD and owner John Wasileski- using a distinct Type A & Type B layout for schoolhouse cottages. These designs were so popular when they were introduced for the OceanView Schoolhouse community, variations of the same were introduced for the cottages offered in the Cumberland Crossing community.
